Engine: 426 (7.0 liter) HEMI built on the architecture of the SRT-8 6.1 liter Gen III Hemi by POWER PORTED PERFORMANCE. Force feeding this motor is a VORTECH Supercharger system running between 12-16 pounds of intercooled boost. This motor features forged internals with WISECO dished pistons and premium quality components throughout. The custom POWER PORTED PERFORMANCE camshaft is custom designed to work with the centrifugal supercharger. This combination should produce in the neighborhood of 900 h.p.

Air Filtration: Functional “Coyote Duster” Air Grabber with high flow washable air filters.

Cooling System: Custom Radiator Warehouse built a 4 core aluminum radiator featuring twin 15” SPAL USA electric fans to keep this bird cool in the desert.

Oil System: Pure Power’s 8900 R remote mount reusable oil filter and a custom Weldtech Aluminum oil pan holding 8 quarts of Pure Power Extreme High Performance SAE 10W/20 CH-4/SJ Racing Motor Oil

ECU: SRT-8 based electronics that have been programmable and tuned by DiabloSport utilizing a handheld tuner and a custom wiring harness.

Electronics: Painless Wiring 18 Circuit Muscle Car wiring Harness will handle all lighting functions, and deliver power to the correct components

Transmission: SRT-8 Based NAG1 5spd automatic operated via steering column mounted TWIST MACHINE paddle shifter.

Exhaust: Gibson Performance Exhaust in 3 inch stainless steel with a Dr. Gas X pipe , and dual electric cutouts. This system exists through the rockers of the Road Runner via polished stainless Gibson tips.

Fuel System: Rock Valley Stainless fuel tank designed specifically for B body Mopars with built in high pressure fuel pump and baffleling. Filtration provide by a Pure Power filter.

Front Suspension: Reilly Motorsports Alterkation II with tubular upper control arms, 2.5 inch drop spindles, heavy duty torsion bars, 1.5 inch spindled tubular sway bar

Rear Suspension: Reilly Motorsports and Muscle Rod Shop’s SRT-8 based Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) featuring a 3:20 gear ratio with a Sure Grip

Steering: Flaming River’s fast ratio power steering rack with Coupler Kit connecting it to the Flaming River tilt polished steering column.

Brakes: Polished master cylinder with 14 inch GT rotors and billet 6 piston calipers. The fronts are mounted with Reilly Motorsports adapters to the drop spindles. The rear features 13 inch GT rotors and billet 4 piston calipers with integrated parking brake.

Wheels/Tires: DPE Wheels custom two piece ” forged alloy wheels 18x8 in front and 20x9.5 rears. Yokohama’s new ultra high performance “S” Drive tires in 255/40/18 and 285/30/20 YR rated radials.

Body: Conceptualized by Plum Floored Creations all body mods were performed by the Muscle Rod Shop. The car features a heavily modified Air Grabber hood, rear quarters have been built and additional 2 inches per side and side sills that lower and that emphasize body lines. Front and rear bumpers, sectioned, chopped, and channeled. The front fascia received an integrated front spoiler and fog lights. Panel replacement was performed with pieces from Year One. Wheel well openings are raised both front and rear to avoid skirting the rims. Side drip rail moldings have been removed and the door handles recessed. The front grill has been sunk back into the body to give the car a more menacing appearance. All fasteners upgraded to stainless steel from MMS & Accessories, Inc.

Paint: “Obsidian” Black Chrome Pearl with Aluminum and Bright Red accents.

Interior: Legendary Auto Interiors, LTD has developed a Retro interior that features stock appearing door panels that have had the wood grain replaced with chrome mylar vinyl. The factory front buckets are finished in black with twin silver stripping to match the rest of the theme. The non console designs helps send the message that the Dark Runner is a serious piece. Vintage Air’s round aluminum air vents provide ventilation. A 13.4 inch Flaming River “D” shaped Fiber Force wheel handles direct changes.

Stereo: Scosche Industries EFX Hyperformance audio system featuring a (3) 4 channel 800 watt amps, twin 12 inch subs, (1) 15” Sub (2) 6x9s, and also (2) 5.5 inch speakers built into the kick panel. The system is controlled by Valor Multimedia’s NVG-720W that provides a 7 inch touch screen with DVD playback, full GPS supported navigation and includes a back up camera with night vision.
