Plum Floored Creations places 3rd overall and wins two of six days in the AUTOWEEK America Adventure Challenge presented by MOPAR!
Our newly completed Dodge Charger, with an all aluminum Mopar Performance 7.0 (426) just completed the (2000 mile on race) 4600 mile Journey. The event ran from Seattle to Las Vegas, and featured track challenges along the way as well as games of skill. The vehicle has been enhanced with Black Ops new Carbon Fiber Hood, and Trunk. They are an excellent complement to the Grip Tuning Front Bumper, and Side skirts. The Mesh in the hood and the grill was all supplied by Grip, so it matches perfectly. The car rides on ACE Alloy Rims, in 20×9 and 20×10.5 wrapped by TOYO Tires proxies II 275/40/20 and 315/35/20s in the rear.
Without a doubt we won the sound completion as every enthusiast loved the sound produced by the SLP Long Tube headers, Loud Mouth II exhaust coupled with Mopars 110 centerline cam. Diablosport provided the tuning via a trinity to keep everything in check, and Johan Base tune made it 1800 miles before any revision! That’s dead on!
Razor’s Edge Motorsport provided chassis stiffing and end links to further enhance the Hellwig Products massive front say bar. MOPARKC.com was able to provide some of the finishing touches to complete the cars build at the last minute. We relied on the impressive new ESCORT IQ for both navigation and law enforcement updates! Huron Driveline provided the upgraded 3.06 Getrag, that kept both tires spinning and the axle together behind the 500+ lbs of torque! The HOD conversion lights were provided by ACC, and kept all within view during night driving.
Without these sponsors, this could not have been accomplished. The car turned out great, and performs as well as it looks. We had approx two weeks to finish this build from paint shop to completion! Look for us back on the track in 2012!
